How BigData is Problem and what is the best Suited solution to it with exciting use cases….
Why BigData is a Problem ?
BigData is not some sort of Technology, but it is a Problem faced by many MNC’s with growing Business. As the Business grows the number of users of the particular product of that Company increases, this results in huge amount of data from these all consumers. eg: Facebook receives 4 petabyte of data Daily. This data is impossible to be stored and manage on the single system, because of Hardware Challanges like if we make one single Hard disk of very huge size then to manipulate this massive amount of data is a challange and challanges are faced regarding the maintainence of such a big Hardware.
This massive data created is Called as BigData as it is impossible to store and manage on single storage. If this problem is not solved then the data will be so huge that it may lead to Low speed and Low efficiency of the company.
This is why BigData is the biggest problem every Big MNC’s are facing But there is a solution to this problem…..
Solution to BigData…..
The very effective and Technology based solution to Bigdata is the Concept or Technology known as Distributed Storage. In this Technlogy the Master-Slave model is implemented in which Master is the User and Slave is the provider as shown:
The above image shows a Master-Slave Architecture which is Provided by Hadoop which is a producted developed by Apache and is an opensource Application which is used to manipulate and manage this BigData and implement Distributed Storage . It follows a protocol known as HDFS(Hadoop Distributed File System). In this the data is splitted and stored in the slave nodes simeltenously which solves the two probems Velocity and Volume of BigData. This results in High Speed and High Efficiency of data.
Facebook also uses HDFS architecture to manage the Problem of BigData ….
